Positive Vision Terms and Conditions
Payment terms:
Full payment is required in advance
Confidentiality:
All information divulged from the client to the Coach will remain confidential whether it is personal or business information. This is in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Cancelling/re-scheduling:
24 hrs notice must be given to re-schedule or cancel appointments. This should ideally be communicated via telephone to ensure that the message is received in time. Should this notice not be given then the Coach exercises the right to retain 50% of the advanced fee for that particular session. Should the Coach wish to re-schedule/cancel an appointment she too will give the client 24 hrs notice. If on the rare occasion the Coach does not give 24 hrs notice of cancellation/re-scheduled appointment then the client will be refunded the full cost for that particular session and the appointment will be re-scheduled.
Lateness:
Should the client be late (15 minutes plus) for a face to face session, he/she will telephone to notify the Coach as soon as possible. If the client fails to notify the Coach, then the Coach reserves the right to withhold 50% of the fee for that particular session. If in the exceptional event the Coach is 15 minutes, or more late for an appointment and has failed to give the client prior notice then the client will be refunded the full cost for that particular session.
Length of sessions:
Telephone and face to face coaching are for one hour
Telephone coaching:
The client is required to contact the Coach at the appointed time for all telephone coaching sessions. Like face to face coaching, this must be booked in advance.
Problems/issues:
During each coaching session the client will be asked challenging questions so that the time allocated is as productive and enlightening as possible, if however in the unlikely event the Coach says anything that inadvertently makes the client feel uncomfortable, then the client is advised to let the Coach know as soon as possible in the first instance so that she can explain and resolve any issues.
Nature of coaching:
The client is aware that coaching is not mentoring, counselling, or any other type of therapy (Please refer to the Positive Vision website for a definition of coaching. Coaching does not guarantee instant results. In order for coaching to have any positive effect in the client’s life, then the client needs to give 100% to each session and be committed to following their own individual action plan.
For telephone and face to face coaching, the client agrees to call the Coach, or meet her at the specified time and venue.
All face to face coaching is carried out within a 3 mile radius of Wallington, Surrey, SM6, at a pre-arranged public venue arranged by the Coach.
Testimonials& case studies:
In order to promote the coaching service, the Coach may ask clients for testimonials to be published on the Positive Vision website or within other promotional material alongside an anonymous case study (summary of discussed issues and solutions). The only personal information that will be divulged apart from the case study/testimonial will be the client’s name and general location. The Coach will seek the client’s consent for publication in writing.
Action plans:
Coaching sessions will involve the Coach setting an action plan with the client following the session. The client may choose not to do the exercises set however in order to progress, and achieve a desired outcome which may bring them closer to a goal, it is highly advisable that they do the exercises and bring, or send them to the Coach before the next session. If by the forthcoming session the client has not done any of the exercises set by the Coach and has no valid explanation as to why, then the coach is at liberty to cancel the forthcoming session forthwith and refund any money paid for that particular session.
Initial Consultation session: A discounted consultation of telephone coaching is given and the client will be duly notified when this session is up. The Coach will make the client aware that should he/she wish to continue the session, he/she will be required to re-schedule a formal appointment at another date and pay in advance. Consultations is between thirty minutes to one hour.
Payment: Clients can either pay via PayPal on the Positive-Vision website, or using a UK cheque and guarantee card number. Cheque payments are subject to clearance before commencement of telephone or face to face sessions. Similarly, coaching will only commence when a paypal payment has been confirmed. For further information on this the client is advised to contact the Coach.
Affordability
For all: The Positive Vision website has an offer for clients on low incomes to negotiate and pay an amount that is affordable to them. The client is therefore asked to state a fixed amount that is affordable for them to pay each week and keep to that amount set. Payment will commence before the first session. If in the event that the client is unable to meet that sum, then the Coach reserves the right to terminate coaching the sessions. Given this, it is therefore advisable that the client carefully considers the amount he/she can afford each week before purchasing sessions. Also note that telephone sessions are offered for low income clients and not face to face coaching.
When booking face to face Life Coaching sessions at The Surrey Clinic
Exceptions to the above:
When booking coaching sessions to take place at The Surrey Clinic the client
will be asked to pay a deposit which will cover administration fees and ensure
that the client keeps their appointment. Also note that the fees for face to face
coaching at the clinic will be in accordance with that on The Surrey Clinic’s
website.
Lastly, the fees charged at The Surrey Clinic will vary from those on the
Positive Vision website and the Coach will work in accordance with the rules
and conditions set under The Surrey Clinic. If The Surrey Clinic’s rules and conditions apply to the Client in any way, then the client will be notified as soon as possible by the Coach. Changes/updates to terms and conditions:
Positive Vision reserves the right to change the terms, conditions and notice
at any time and any modifications will be effective immediately upon
posting of such changes. The client is therefore responsible for regularly
reviewing these terms and conditions. If the client does not want to be bound
by the terms and conditions then he/she may choose not to use this Coaching
service.
