Q: How long will it take until I see the benefits of coaching? A: It varies from person to person, however I would say it generally takes three months as I would be working with the individual over a weekly and/or monthly basis and devising an action plan. Q:I've looked on various lifecoaching websites and they don't tend to state what coaching methods they use, please could you tell me some of the one's you use? A: Depending on the clients particular problem, I use techniques such as a gap anaysis, the SMART test and the life satidfaction checklist to name but a few. The gap analysis establishes what the problem is, the outcome the client wants and the way in which that can be achieved - hence the overall objective is to close that gap. For others who have various issues and don't know where to start, we would begin with the Life Satisfaction checklist to establish specifically what the client is unhappy about. I could go on, but these are just a few examples. Q: For first time users, who may be nervous, how would you put them at ease? A: Well first of all I would tell the client that there is nothing to worry about and would break the ice by asking a few simple questions about themselves so as to get them to relax. Q: I'm confused, isn't counselling and coaching the same thing?, if not, how do they differ? A: Counselling looks at the individual's past whilst coaching looks at the goals that they would wish to achieve for the future which includes drawing up an action plan for improvement. Q: So many coaching websites offer similar packages and information, what makes you stand out? A: I make sure that my coaching service does not exclude anyone which is reflected with my 'affordability for all' scheme. My coaching is about making sure that all those who are in need of coaching can receive it, this includes those on low wages. Sign Up For FREE Career Hints & Tips To Get Your Career Back On Track! |
